I hope this edition of 24seven News finds you and your families well, although like most of us probably craving some sunshine. Having said that we have had some great weather in the Waikato this week - finally. Great for those farmers in the middle of calving.

The cost of living has continued to rise in NZ, and interest rates have of course risen as well, although we have seen some softening in the 3, 4 and 5 year fixed rates last month. Floating (variable ) rates have continued to rise and are now around the 8 - 9 % mark(depending on lender ) . Many people want to know if we will see interest rates as low as Year 2021 again (we wish ) - see links below for some industry thoughts.
